Obituary

Dr. Joseph B. Goldstein, age 68, of Northbrook, passed away on March 29. Beloved husband of Madelon nee Balfour; loving father of Robin (Christopher) Sowl and Lisa (Matt) Rapaport; proud Papa of Zachary, Aidan, Julia, and Austin; devoted son of the late Rita and Paul Goldstein and son-in- law of the late Florence and Reuben Balfour; fond brother of Mitchell (Cathe) and the late Wayne Goldstein and brother-in-law of Howard and Gerald (Sharon) Balfour; cherished uncle of Raviv, Michael (Danyell), Aaron, Matthew, Ron, and Jenny and great uncle of Karma and Tyler; dear friend and caring Doctor to many. Chapel Service Thursday, March 31 at 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I was very saddened to hear that Dr. Goldstein passed away. I will never forget the excellent care I received as his patient. Not only was he an excellent doctor, he had a great sense of humor that will also not be forgotten. My sincerest condolences to his family and colleagues from the Des Plaines office. He is truly missed.

Dr Joe was the best Doctor ever.He was not only a Doctor of the body he was of the heart and mind.He listened when you spoke and that is rare in a doctor. I will always miss his Hi, how are ya? May he rest in peace and his family have peace.
